Simple comfortable rooms in a remote community on the scenic southern slopes of Mt Rinjani. Host was so welcoming and friendly. Delicious breakfast and outstanding coffee served on a roof terrace above the rooms. Spectacular panoramic view from the terrace of the local landscape, including Mt Rinjani, if the clouds part. Walkable to the nearby Monkey Forest - which was fun. Options to tour the surrounding rice terraces/waterfalls were available but we had to move on. Absolutely recommend a stay here.

Just everything. We loved every second here. Our room was spacious, well equipped and clean. The food that Andy prepared for us was always really really tasty, the breakfast aswell as lunch and dinner. It’s all fresh cooked and local. Talking about Andy - he was definitively the highlight of our stay. He was always friendly, funny and just the best host u can wish for. The tour we did with him was also really good, we gained much information about local life, plants, animals and the authentic Lombok living. He told us so much, was always there for a chat and just really, really nice to be around. The other members of the staff were also really nice! Also the area of Tetebatu was so lovely and beautiful. The local wildlife as gecko’s and some other little animals are part of the area, so u have to be prepared to see them around. Remember: they were here before you ;) We would definitely stay here again. That was one of our best experiences on our whole trip through Southeast Asia.

I didn't expect to find a place as nice as this, 3 bungalows that are still quite new with attractive designs fully furnished, clean bathrooms and all function well, the view of Mount Rinjani looks very majestic and stunning from the bungalow, and the river flow next to it brings meaningful tranquility, beautiful rice field views, this place is very new, the location is not so touristic for those of you who want to find local wisdom come here, Burhan is a kind host who always helps with all his kindness, the young people who work there are very friendly and kind.
