We really enjoyed our stay at this place. The room was perfect for three people — very clean, comfortable, and the bathroom was absolutely beautiful. The host was very kind and went out of his way to provide us with forks, spoons, and a can opener so we could have our meal in the room. We really appreciated the thoughtfulness and hospitality. Would definitely recommend this place!

The place si located in the middle of Akureyri city center, almost no noise in the corridors and the room apart from the outside. The room and bathroom were impeccably clean, and were very pretty. We had coffee and tea at our disposal. During our visit, we were able to enjoy the Forest Lagoon right at the East entrance of the city. The area is very beautiful, nestled in the mountains west of Akureyri. There are plenty of nice roads and trails to walk on near the facilities. The facilities were very clean, well-maintained, and with charming decor. There are cute animals on the property, including lambs and farm dogs. They are friendly and playful. The breakfast should not be missed. The hostess makes many of the dishes herself, to include jams made from local berries that she picked. Very good. It was a very restful and relaxing place to stay.
