I really liked the retro look. The remote location, red carpets and doors reminded me of the movie "The Shining", but in a good way :) On a more serious note, the room and bathroom were very clean, as was the bedding. Great breakfast, staff polite and helpful.

The room was spacious and they have a natural hot bath that is open anytime. It was amazing to relax inside the hot tub after a long drive. They also serve breakfast! 🥞

The staff is amazing, the place is great even though it's a little off road but it totally worth it. Also the breakfast is great, everything was clean. We love it so much!

If I could give more than 10, I would happily do it. It was a fantastic apartment. I was a bit hesitant about shared kitchen initially. But it was absolutely fine. It was huge and exceptionally clean, had loads of utensils and cooking equipment. A full size dishwasher. So they have set up the kitchen in a way that multiple people can cook same time. They also come every morning to clean and reset the kitchen. They also give free supplies like breads, tomato, butter, oils etc. Washing machine came in very handy as this was day 7 of our Iceland trip when we stayed in Birkilauf. Rooms are very nice, neat and clean. Bathroom also looks newly done up Location is very close to all main areas like Hverir geothermal, Hverfjall Volcano and Dimmuborgir and lake Myvatn. Overall everything was great. Highly recommend.
