Very nice guesthouse with friendly host who was able to accommodate my early check-in request. Small(ish) room but had everything I needed. The kitchen was great, every room has its own shelf in the fridge and the host provided for example tea, which I loved.

The guesthouse is very strategically close both to the city centre and the bus terminal (from which the buses to the airport depart directly, with no need to book for the drop off/ pick up service), but at the same is in a quiet and very green residential area. The room is small (but it was clear from the pictures posted, so no surprises there) but very clean and comfortable. Thorey was a great host and ready to help when I called her before arriving, and left very specific instructions for us regarding our stay. Lovely dog too!

Very good price for a single room in Reykjavik, was even cheaper than dorm-beds in some hostels! Good location, only a few minutes walk to city center. Supermarket next door, still the street itself is rather quiet. Very clean and also has basic equipment for cooking.

Plenty of toilets (4) and showers (3), kind hosts who were eager to help with small favours, tasty smörgåsbord breakfast, quiet rooms, classic Reykjavík home guesthouse! Easy access to city center by short walk.

Access to the guesthouse is by email instructions which were clear and helpful. This is one of the cheapest hotels available at the moment in Reykjavik but the room was clean and bright. Wifi was good, shared bathroom also clean - if rather small - and the staff helpful. Bed was basic but comfortable and I slept well. The hotel is in a good location near to the city centre but in a quiet area.
