Perfect location, within a few minutes walk to the beautiful old city and beaches. The hosts, Mario and his wife were extremely pleasant, friendly and helpful. We had a spacious room with full seaview from the balcony. Plenty of parking space is available. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would book Gelsimori again if we return.

We stayed at L’Ottavo Giorno as a family and absolutely loved it. The location is peaceful, surrounded by olive trees, yet just a few minutes’ drive from Otranto and the beaches. Our room was spacious, very clean, and had everything we needed—including a fridge, coffee machine, and comfy beds. Breakfast was light but tasty. Matteo, the host, was incredibly kind. Also, there are some amazing historical sites just a short drive away. These "must-see" if you're exploring southern Italy! It felt calm, safe, and welcoming—highly recommended for families traveling in Puglia.

Spacious room. Very clean, with towels and bath mat changes every day, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast has a bit of everything. Free parking is a big plus.
