Do note that the check in time is 3-6pm, and when i was late, the owner patiently waited for me to arrive. Free homemade welcome drink and oranges. Room had plates and kitchen equipment as well as games. Location was good with 24hr Lawson nearby.

The woman running the guesthouse was AMAZING. She spoke great English and took us to a local bath house. Gave us towels and soap to bring with us, and picked us up when we were finished. Great place to stay while doing the Shimanamikaido.

charming rustic guesthouse right on the road. no trouble finding it whatsoever. great place to stay in if you’re planning on breaking up Shimanami Kaido into two days (like I did and completely recommend doing). best of all, it was right next to a konbini! also, they sell vegan friendly western food! I’ve been looking for coconut milk in Japan for ages and finally found some!
