I basically had a personal studio flat for a room. There was an entrance way, a combined kitchen + sitting room area. The kitchen was equipped with a stove, pan, and a set of tableware. The bed was so comfortable and plush! And the bedroom was separated from the sitting room for privacy. Plus the location was amazing; I was a short train ride away from a popular shopping district in Kamakura and a bunch of temples/shrines/sightseeing places in the wider Kanagawa area.

Our stay was very nice , The host went out of their way to help us and it was a very great help from their side to pick us up and drop us to the kamakura station and also drove us to visit some other places ..

Second time staying in guesthouse Shibafu in a year! I really like the heartwarming feel of the guesthouse, it’s like coming home :) Staff and owner would greet you cheerfully. The room is cosy and fresh. Location is perfect! Close to everything in Hase, including hasedera, big buddha, old street, the beach, and even a 7-11 for a night beer run. Love it here.
