Nice and very affordable guesthouse near train station and Bamboo Forest. Masumi is a wonderful host! She made the extra mile to make me feel at home. She offered toast and hot macha when I arrived. very close to the JR station and main street the host is extremely friendly and provided helpful information though we can only use the shared toilet and shower, there are not many guests per night, it's not inconvinient .

I liked everything. very friendly family, helped with all informatikn needed to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. the location is perfect for walking around the old part (10-30min, depending on what you want to see). the rooms was amazing. very clean!!

Very friendly host! I have been welcomed with a cup of tea and a cooky.They gave me very helpful information and even drove me to the railway station. I regret that I couldn't stay longer. Next time for sure!

That was my little treat during my trip and it was amazing. The house has been restored as new but keeps its traditional soul you feel like going back on time in the Edo period. The owners were so kind, patient and welcoming that I felt like home in Japan. The private room is impeccable with a touch of modernity.
