I really enjoyed my stay here! The couple hosting were so kind and welcoming, and their dog Gao was absolutely adorable. The location was convenient for getting around, and overall it was a great experience. Would definitely recommend!

Great place to stay while in Kanazawa. We had a great time, the house is really nice, clean and quiet. Well located in a nice walking district. The host is really nice and friendly, making sure everything is good for us and providing some very good advices during our stay there and even afterwards.

We had a great time staying at this historic place right in the center of Kanazawa's Higashi Chaya District. The owner and hosts are super friendly and helpful, speak English, and provide a number of great recommendations for restaurants in the area. The traditional Japanese style room is truly special.

This was an excellent value. The host is very accommodating, and the room and facilities are very well appointed. The location is excellent. Kanazawa is a lovely town and well worth visiting. This accommodation is such great value that I hope folks treat it with respect and don't mess up a good thing.

    Very lovely guest house with a great host. Pleasant change to the usual choice of more or less soulless hotels if you want something more unique. I visited for a couple of days to see Kanazawa. Would definitely choose this accommodation again. Medium-duration walk to the city centre.

    Beautiful and quaint traditional style guesthouse. come here for a proper traditional Japanese stay experience. The host was lovely and they have created a traditional feel with modern renovations and comforts like air conditioning and bathroom facilities. Out of the busier downtown area but walkable (20-30 mins) or by bus.
