It is a refurbished traditional Japanese house. The lodging is at the back of a shop so it is away from the road and very private. Shop only operates during lunch so there is no disturbance. Japanese accommodation at its best. Immediate and helpful replies to messages. A very stylish and typical Japanese place next to a temple. Plenty of room, clean, well equipped with everything you might need during your stay. following was available on site: yoga equipment, outside seating and bbq, we were able to attend a buddhist ceremony in the temple If you're looking for a place for an extended time for some peace and quiet or just a short stay, both works. Very friendly and helpful host.
