Super friendly host, gave me a lift to the sights that I was interested and seemed genuinely interested in ensuring I was comfortable in their stay. Cats very friendly and playful, plenty of them. Good location, quiet part of town but walking distance to places of interest.

It was a wonderful experience. The house is typically Japanese, beautiful and cozy. The view is incredible and the people, whether in the guesthouse (staff) or in the village, are very nice. This place and this accommodation were a highlight of my trip. It is recommended to spend several days/nights there to enjoy to the fullest and spend time with the host/staff or have dinner together. A real local experience with the kindest people! I will definitely visit this place again!

Location is easy to find as you just have to follow the main road to find it, it is on the 4th floor and the host is the owner of the Takoyaki shop on the first floor. The bedroom unit is very spacious and clean with personal lockers, bath and face towels are provided daily. There is a washing & drying machine for 100/200円 in the toilet. The opposite guest unit consists of the lounge for eating and general relaxation in addition to the showering room.

With garden views, 古民家ゲストハウス -Yokado Kirikushi- 穏やかな余暇を瀬戸内の島で is located in Etajima and has accommodation with a kitchen. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking.

We had a fabulous stay. Beautiful house, well equipped. Excellent location, minutes from the ferry port. Very friendly hosts, we were invited to take part in the traditional Japanese end of the year celebration. Lovely community feel.

The host was very helpful. The place was newly renovated and very clean and cosy. It was located near the port wich makes it easy to access. We also had very delicious dinner made from local fish!

The hostel itself looks brand new, everything is clean, there's a lot of showers and bathrooms. The location is also quiet and peaceful. The staff was really one of the best I have witnessed, active, and answered to every request. They also provide information about the area and the activities. They are doing their best for the guests. Blanc guest house is one of my favourite guests house in Japan (maybe the one)

One of the highlights of our visit to Japan. Beautiful property with a lovely courtyard/garden. Quiet street relative to the main touristy stretch, though close and easy to find. The best part was the owner/host, a wonderful and kind person. He made our stay very comfortable, gave restaurant recommendations, and provided a delicious breakfast. He also showed genuine interest in us and where we were from; our interactions were cheerful.

Lovely guest house with 8 separate bedrooms and communal kitchen/bathroom. I was the only one staying there for two nights so it was lovely and quiet. The owner (Yummy I think) was very sweet and accommodating when she popped in and when I saw her on the street at check out. Simple and effective place to stay.
