One of the best organized places I stayed in ! All is super clean , well explained by lovely owner that really puts his soul in this place . He clean himself and really looks at details , redesigning the place for making the place more better and efficient . He is really warm and welcoming. It is more a guesthouse then hostel with enough space , also family’s can stay in shared room . The can make enough contact with other travelers if you like . They rent e-bikes out, that is realtor convenient. Without that I would be stuck because not so many busses . They also have a great roof terras, and garden around house . All was perfect, It feels at comming home . Definitely comming back , was a highlight of my trip.

A neat, clean and enthusiastic host. You can ride a bike to the lighthouse and the coast. It's also friendly for people who don't have a car. Japanese houses are not soundproof, so it may not be suitable for you to live here if you are sensitive to sound. It makes me feel at home. I will come back next time.❤️

Our family stayed at Guest House Maui on the beautiful Miyakojima island in July-August 2023. Incredible hospitality, kindness, and generosity reign in this place thanks to the owner Saito san, former professional board-surfing athlete, and his partner Haru san. The property has a relaxed Hawaiian feel to it. The rooms are comfortable and homey. There is a kitchen and a cozy common area. Everything is pristine clean. Infrastructure wise, Maui has everything: car rentals, parking, snorkelling gear, laundry, emergency food supplies, good advice about local restaurants, snorkelling spots, etc. Imgya Marine Garden is literally a 5 min walk from the guesthouse. We do not speak Japanese but Google Translate helped overcome the language barrier - there was no issue whatsoever. Also, pre-travel communication with Maui was excellent. We are forever grateful to Saito san and Haru san for the memorable days we spent together at Maui. We miss you!
