I loved how clean and well equipped it is! The bathtub is amazing as well. Very rare to find in Japan. After hiking all day, I could take a long hot bath and just allow myself to fully rest. It was wonderful! Their shop next door was a great addition and convenience. I’m obsessed with the passion fruit cider they had there!!!

Charming little hotel with hundreds of volumes of manga (some in English!) in the middle of Oshima. Our room was small, but the space was thoughtfully planned - and the izakaya restaurant next door was *amazing*.

Perfect location close to the Motomachi port. There are many places to eat nearby as well. The rooms are simple, clean, and have everything you need: bed, ac, a table etc. They are also really spacious. The staff (host) is also really friendly and accommodating, and one of them even speaks English. I was offered food multiple times, even though it is not included in the accommodation plan. The common (dining) area has a tv and manga, and is a nice place to chat with other guests and the host.

While maintain the original Japanese house, it was renovated with nice lights, toilet facilities, and the futon was very comfortable. The air conditioning in each room helped us stay cool in the summer heat.
