We loved our time at the Uji Tea Inn! It was quite easy to walk to the different train stations and amenities. Our hosts were exceptionally lovely and made us feel special during our stay. We would love to stay here again on our next visit to Kyoto.

The house is cosy, clean and well designed. We enjoy our stay very much. Our kids love the hot tub. The vending machine in front of the house is a life saviour. We packed our luggage as light as we could because there is a washing machine with dryer provided in the unit.

    Clean and well set up place to stay. We found a local restaurant around the corner and had a great time in a local area. Super clean and Host lovely. We took a taxi from station to Uji Tea Inn as it was so hot. We walked to station the next day around 10 mins.

    Cozy small hostel in Uji. Quietly located a little away from the major attractions. Stay here, if you would like a little less overcrowded atmosphere. Kyoto, Nara and can be reached in less than half an hour. Friendly staff.
