The hotel arranged for transportation from the airport, which was a delightful short boat ride and felt very VIP. Staff was very professional, helpful and above all very friendly and welcoming. The hotel grounds feel like a little quiet oasis, so if you don't feel like doing much you can just spend the morning at the pool.

The locations is a gem. Away from the HUSTLE AND BUSTLE OF LAMU. There is a great restaurant next door With delicious food and you can always pop over to Sheila (5 min boat ride) for some activity if you feel too quiet on the island 🏝️ 👍

The security was top-notch, making me feel safe and comfortable throughout my visit. One of the highlights was the unique wheezing sounds that gave the place a distinctive character. I thoroughly enjoyed the walk to the town center, where the locals were extremely friendly and welcoming. The management also arranged a town tour for me, rich in culture, as well as a sea tour, both of which were truly memorable experiences. I highly recommend Beytul Habaib to anyone visiting Lamu. It’s the perfect blend of comfort, culture, and hospitality.

Moses has been an excellent host, and the place is fantastic to stay. It looks very new and gives the feel that you are staying in the time of the Oman. Breakfast was very easy but so good!
