From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the natural beauty and tranquility that surrounds this charming retreat. Nestled amidst the lush greenery, Train View Chalet offers a unique experience of being right next to the railways, allowing you to witness the enchanting sight of trains passing by. The natural setting here is truly a haven of peace and relaxation. It feels like you're living in harmony with nature, making it an ideal spot to unwind and destress. The spacious and comfortable rooms at Train View Chalet are a testament to the thoughtfulness put into every detail. At night, you can fall asleep to the soothing sounds of nature, creating a truly serene atmosphere. What impressed me the most was the impeccable cleanliness of the rooms, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic stay. One of the highlights of our stay was the delectable food prepared by the talented kitchen staff. What sets Train View Chalet apart is that they make each dish fresh to order. The breakfast offered a wide range of choices, and the portions were generous. We also enjoyed a delightful dinner that left our taste buds craving for more.Train View Chalet in Bandarawela is a hidden paradise for nature enthusiasts and anyone seeking a peaceful escape. Clean, comfortable room and bathroom, beautiful terrace and garden with lots of wildlife, lovely hosts, easy walk to the main area.

The view you will get is the best thing about this place. Staff was friendly and accommodating. It's a 10/10 place.

Don’t under estimate this place. Room had everything one might need including one of the comfiest beds and powerful showers so far in Sri Lanka. The room we stayed in had a fantastic view of Ella rock and a waterfall. It’s a very easy walk into Ella along the rail way tracks (this is normal in Ella I promise). Staff wanted to do as much as they could to make the stay at the hotel and time in Ella as enjoyable as possible.
