A beautiful place situated 2 minutes from the beach. Really well presented, extra touches to make everything appear special with flowers on the bed and on dining table. Beaches and pool towels are also provided which is very handy. We and an evening meal which was very tasty and plentiful. Yes indeed the area has more mosquitoes than perhaps others but the hotel takes many steps to alleviate the nuisance. We didn’t find the railway a bother at all. All in all a great place and happy to recommend.

WIFI works good for remote work with video calls. So lovely lady owner that was cooking delicious breakfast for me. AC works very well.

Aayu was super friendly, providing us with all kinds of information we needed. The breakfast was fresh with a big selection of fruits, along with yoghurt, toasts, sausage and eggs and delicious homemade cake! Very close to the beach, clean facilities and a cute teddybear-like watchdog! Will always come back to this place when near Bentota!

I absolutely loved this place. It was a 5 min walk to the beach, and cleaner than any place I've stayed in before. The family were incredibly warm and accommodating. I would recommend wholeheartedly.

We loved everything about the property, right from the check in, to check out.. the family who is running the property are exceptionally sweet and helpful. Food is so delicious and the rooms and facilities are mind blowing. It was like home away from home. Haven’t been so comfortable on any trip as much as we were at happy man village. Absolutely amazing place. The owners were so lovely and really attentive - they even gave us complimentary drinks and fruits from the garden and called us when there were monkeys and birds around. Was in a beautiful setting at one with nature but still just a short walk to shops and restaurants. The room, bathroom and balconies couldn’t have been nicer. Best place we’ve stayed at in Sri Lanka :)

The calm and quiet surrounding, clean and tidy bedroom and bathroom, convenience of location (close to the main road/not too far from the Bentota town), friendly host, and most of all Value for Money! We were attending a wedding at a nearby hotel and the host kindly let us back into the room even after checking out earlier in the day so that we could freshen up before our long journey back home.

We loved the Red Coconut Villa, everything was perfect. The garden is amazing, like an oasis. Everything is so tastefully done, it couldn’t be better. The beach is across the road, so quiet. The place is really clean, everything is new and has all the details! The place is also quiet, the staff is really friendly and helpful. It has a nice pool and yard. The breakfast is excellent and they put a lot of food!
