Everything! This was on my bucket list for a very long time. Spending a night in the very house that the legend Geoffrey Bawa lived & worked was in itself a moving experience. Beautifully maintained by the trust. Every corner, every piece of furniture & art has a story to tell. Staff is wonderful & breakfast was delicious. Can't wait to return to Colombo & stay here again.

Amazing hotel! A piece of the jungle in the city center! Monkeys, squirrels, parrots and many more) Everything is so beautiful and authentic. Very welcoming and friendly staff❤️‍🔥 They met and served a welcome drink. We took a room with a jacuzzi, a fabulous room. The room includes slippers, bathrobes, hairdryer, beach towels in a basket and an umbrella. Great pool. Breakfast and dinner were requested in the room. Amazingly delicious breakfast, the hotel cooks delicious food. I’m just in love with this hotel 💔 I will definitely stay there again. Thank you very much to the entire team of this hotel!

An amazing place with a great heart. lots of beautiful arts and crafts, the swimming pool was perfect, the room was very convenient and well designed, and last but definitely not least - the team!! They organised a birthday breakfast celebration for us and helped us in any possible way. Thanks a lot! We are very grateful!

What an absolutely lovely stay. My only regret is that we didn't stay here longer. We arrived at Sayura House at the tail end of our Sri Lanka trip with some part of our 13-people family. The rooms were comfortable, the staff were friendly and hospitable, the space was beautiful, and the inhouse restaurant food was fantastic. Highly recommended stay!

We had an amazing stay here. The hosts, Sam and Steph, are the most kind, welcoming people you could meet. The staff are very helpful, nothing was a problem for them. The Sri Lankan omelette for breakfast was the best I'd had in the three weeks of travelling the country. Mount Bay Guest House rooms have all that you would expect at more expensive hotels. All the boxes are ticked. A very comfortable stay.

Shalom Villa is a home away from home. Nilu and Iresh make you feel welcome right away and help you with all your travel needs. The guesthouse is away from the noisy and bustling center, but within easy reach using the PickMe App for inexpensive and fast transportation. Coffee and tea are always available and shops are in close vicinity. I also liked the stroll down to the river. With so much nature around one might forget to be still in Colombo. I am looking forward to coming back here and enjoy the hospitality. 🙂

The cafe was handy for a quick bite and a pot of tea before starting the day. Friendly staff and good service. Meals were good. A special Thank you to Prisca for keeping in touch during my stay at the DBU and making sure that every thing was ok. Convenient location.
