We were beyond happy that we got to stay in Madiha Surf Lodge. This place was beautiful and with such a friendly owners & staff! Our room was so beautiful and clean. The brakfast/seating area was so cosy and beautiful and the accommodation was located only few steps from the most amazing beach with breathtaking sunset spot(short private road to the beach). We are vegan & they met our needs and prepared us tastiest breakfast (It was even better than food from restourants haha) So couldn't be more happy! Thank you so much and we will for sure return! It was hard to leave :)

We had a fantastic stay at Skyy Villa Polhena The location was perfect for snorkeling and surfing with beautiful beaches just steps away. The breakfast was delicious offering fresh and tasty options every morning. Our room and the entire property were **spotlessly clean** and well-maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Matara whether you're an adventure seeker or just looking for a relaxing getaway! We’d love to come back

The room and the house was amazing, quiet, tidy, well organised and relaxing. We were hesitant to come here because the accommodation had no reviews, but we took the risk and ended up being the very first guests of this exceptional place! The owner of the accommodation worked for 19 years in Dubai in construction and hospitality, and you can truly feel the attention to detail he brought from his experience into this space. A spacious room, a huge bathroom, beautiful terrazzo everywhere, and excellent service from the owner and his wife. They were constantly running around us as if we were a king and queen. Whatever we needed, they helped, arranged, and delivered it. Truly amazing service. When I return to this area, I won’t even think twice about where to stay. The choice is clear. I hope they manage to build the pool next year 😍 as the owner promised! This was one of the most beautiful accommodations we’ve ever stayed at during our travels. Thank you!

The stay was the BEST we had so far in Sri Lanka! Dinu and her family do everything to make you feel at home, if you wish for something they will make sure to make it happen. The location is also really nice and calm, as it is located in the second row, but still very centered only 2 min walk to the main road and 5 min to the beach. From the terrace you have a nice view in the jungle-like garden, where you can even see monkeys play and listen to exotic birds in the morning. And the best yet to come, the rooms are brand new, super clean and equipped with everything you need: AC, nice bathroom, mini fridge, mosquito net, fast WIFI etc. If you stay here, also make sure to have breakfast, it was simply the best, we were completely full because everything was so delicious and a lot Sri Lankan dishes to try out. It is also possible to have professional massages directly at the accommodation as they also have a day spa center here, we didn't have it but a lot of day guests came by. Sorry for gushing, but we really enjoyed our stay as you can tell and we recommend to be quick because as soon as people will know about this new place, it will be booked out for a long time

Extremely welcoming and helpful family. Lovely property with nice new fresh rooms. I was stuck with nowhere to stay due to a misunderstanding. They took me in late at night, I had no bags with me, they gave me PJ's which was honestly such a lovely lovely thing to do. The breakfast the next-day was gorgeous. Dhal, sambol, potato curry, hoppers, the lot!! 2 types of desert. Genuinely lovely people. AND THEIR DOG!!! omg, the cutest fluff Ball I've ever seen.

This loving family easily created the place I've stayed in my 1 year of traveling. If you're the type of traveler who appreciates major attention to detail, the warmest of welcomes (fresh glass of passion fruit juice from their garden !!), high-quality facilities, and mind-blowing dollar value, then you found your home away from home. Honestly, I wish I had a home back home as nice as this home.
