Staff were lovely, welcoming and very helpful. Great place for a layover in Colombo or longer. The hotel was very accommodating and helped us with our onward travels to the south as well.

Nice little Guest House near the beach - only across the railway. Was quite weird to cross the railway without any crossing path. Beach was full of people, restaurants on the beach a bit overpriced.

Shalom Villa is a home away from home. Nilu and Iresh make you feel welcome right away and help you with all your travel needs. The guesthouse is away from the noisy and bustling center, but within easy reach using the PickMe App for inexpensive and fast transportation. Coffee and tea are always available and shops are in close vicinity. I also liked the stroll down to the river. With so much nature around one might forget to be still in Colombo. I am looking forward to coming back here and enjoy the hospitality. 🙂
