It was marvelous to experience Geoffrey Bawa's eyes and soul through this stay. Extremely relaxing and beautiful, through out the space and breakfast. The housekeeper Rohana was surprisingly impressive in his hospitality and professional at touring Bawa's residence. Definitely will visit again!

Aathma is a feast for the eyes and the heart. The setting is so lovely with lake views and peaceful gardens. As others have said there is always something new, beautiful or quirky to catch your eye. The hotel feels like a treasured family home in which you are an honoured guest. The staff are excellent, so professional and competent but friendly and fun as well. Bohoma stoothi Imran and Geeth for your outstanding care of us. The food was also some of the best we have had in Sri Lanka.

This was the most unique accomodation we stayed at on the whole trip. I've read in some other reviews this was a hidden gem, and a gem it is! We got a room upgrade just because, the breakfast was amazing, the pool and sauna area really nice and the staff super attentive! Great relaxing time in Colombo before taking our flight back home. Wish we could have stayed longer! :)

Sayuras House is a very nice place. Beautiful interior and decor you will find and a very relaxed garden. The staff is very kind and helpful. We had a really good stay there. It’s also nice that it is very quiet. For Colombo Perfect option!

At IGN Residence Colombo, my travelled needs were exceeded beyond expectation. It is a beautiful colonial-style building. Usually the most important quality for me as a single, woman traveler, is the safety of the accommodation and the immediate vicinity. Secondly I look for exceptional service. Relaxation means not having to do what is expected of me at home. Handcrafted furnishings and choice appointments complemented the discrete aura of these private lodgings. Seeing brand new furniture and towels was a pleasant surprise. In the kitchen, there was also fresh Italian coffee. Located on the central avenue of the city, the house is close to a shopping center, pharmacies, restaurants, and art galleries. It is possible to walk to all necessary places. I found walking along the avenue to be very convenient.
