The location is quite convenient to access from the airport. The room was comfortable and clean. But the best part of our stay were the staff, who were very helpful and kind. They gave us a welcome fruit juice, arranged an airport transfer, and the next day a trip to Colombo train station.

We stayed at Mario Family Villa for our first night in Sri Lanka and what a warm welcome we got! Besides the great atmosphere, the accommodation has all you need. The house is very clean, the shower is warm and the airconditioning works perfectly. The kindness of the family is heart warming, they are very helpfull and the breakfast (coffee/tea, fresh fruit, 3 different pancakes) was delicious. If we could, we would defenitely stay here again! Thank you so much!!!

Beautiful house, with huge rooms. We got the room with a nice private terrace with the view of the front entry and swimming pool. We had to spent a night in Negombo because we had to give back our rental tuk tuk and we had a very late/night flight home. The guy that runs the place made as a fantastic traditional breakfast, we were able to park our tuk tuk in the garden. He let us stay in the house after check out. So we were able to rest on the sofa in the huge living room, use the bathroom and the swimming pool. The best thing in Negombo was this place

What an amazing place! First of all, the staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. The check-in process went smoothly. The room is comfortable and clean. I also had dinner and breakfast here. The food is delicious!! Thank you for being great hosts. Perfect place to have spent my last night in Sri Lanka!

    This is a superb guesthouse in a very quiet neighbourhood. The owners, Ron and Brenda, were fantastic hosts. They really care about your comfort and with providing useful information about the area. The English breakfast is absolutely lovely! Do not hesitate to book this place!

    Deb was so accommodating and kind, going above and beyond to help us to be comfortable. Taxi pick up was so easy (despite arriving at 4am). Great location about 10 minutes walk from the beach and restaurants. A superb host with a lovely guesthouse which we would thoroughly recommend!

    Embiente Guest House is an oasis in Negumbo! Quiet, beautiful garden, gorgeous pool and very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed before flying home and our host also took us to the airport in his TukTuk.
