Nice, quiet place outside the village center. In fact, it is a small apartment - a bedroom, a kitchen, a wonderful terrace. Good parking space. Stable internet. The host is very nice, good breakfast.

The hosts were so friendly, had a chat with us for about 10 mins once we arrived.. Brought us a drink once we checked in which was lovely. Great room with outside seating overlooking their garden. Kitchen to use for free. They also had a menu at good prices. The location was amazing - at the start of the main tourist street towards the beach. There was also 2 hammocks in the garden which was funky.

An excellent place – very close to the center of the tourist area, yet nestled in the perfect tranquility of the jungle. During the day, it’s easy to walk to all the most interesting spots in town, while at night, you can enjoy the peace and the sounds of nature. It’s perfect for those who love an active day but prefer to relax in quiet surroundings in the evening. The room is very spacious, cozy and clean, with a super comfortable bed. Housekeeping is frequent, with regular changes of bed linens and towels – a very nice level of comfort. The hotel staff speaks English well and are incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or requests. The property is lush with greenery and offers a great view of a nearby rock formation (mountain). I especially appreciated the drying rack for clothes. The room had all the necessary amenities, and everything worked without any issues. The balcony is very cozy and a fantastic spot to relax in the evening. Overall, everything was great – the hotel is definitely worth its price. I highly recommend this place!

Nice accommodation, 5 minutes from the sea. Spacious, clean room with balcony and garden view. Large bathroom. Cleaning was done every day, there were beach towels. There were bags of coffee and tea and also 2 large bottles of free water every day. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this accommodation.

Perfect location just 1 min walk from the beach (across the road). Room is clean and cozy. Bed is comfortable. Owner is very caring and helpful. Delicious breakfast is provided in a next door restaurant, which opens at 8:30-09:00, please take this in consideration when you book with breakfast. Nearby there are a lot of restaurants, what is definitely good. On the other hand, you have to be prepared it might be noisy in the late evening.

My girlfriend and I had such a wonderful stay at Villa Gaetano. Such a peaceful place with lovely staff. They took good care of us, let us check in earlier, made excellent breakfast and even better dinner. We had crab and fish for dinner and we really enjoyed it. It is located a little bit out of the city centre which is nice and quiet. We rented a scooter for some of the days from the hotel. We loved every bit of our stay 🫶

Lira Unawatuna is a beautiful and peaceful hotel close to the beach. The rooms are clean, modern, and very comfortable. The staff is super friendly – especially Wishva, who gave us amazing service throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

We had an excellent stay! The accommodation is very well equipped and has everything you need. It also features an incredible, lush garden — very natural and peaceful. The beach is just a 1-minute walk away. The host was very kind and helpful. Highly recommended!
