Sahan Guest House was an awesome find! The welcome was warm and genuine — I was even greeted with a refreshing welcome drink, which was a great touch after a long trip. The location is perfect — right in the city, close to everything, and just a short ride to the ancient city. Super convenient if you’re exploring the cultural sites nearby. There’s also fast food and other restaurants nearby if you’re craving a quick bite. Honestly, the hospitality here is top-notch. Sahan and the team really care about their guests. Room is very big, with comfortable beds. Very quiet location. Hot water works very well, there is even a toothpaste. WiFi works very well. We had no mosquitoes. To the historical part you can cycle by bicycle , there is a path, you don’t have to cycle on the highway. The juices are very tasty.
