Perfect stay at Iguana Azul in Chefchaouen My friend and I stayed at Iguana Azul for three nights and absolutely loved it. Our room was spotless, fresh, and felt almost new. The bed was huge and super comfortable, with two separate blankets — no fighting over the covers at night! There was also air conditioning, which made it even more comfortable. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome and were always ready to assist with anything — whether it was questions about things to do in the area or helping us book a cooking class or hammam visit. Breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious, and the rooftop terrace is a beautiful, peaceful place to relax. The location is perfect too: right in the heart of Chefchaouen’s charming little streets. We truly felt at home and taken care of. This place is a gem and we’ll definitely come back. The staff were very attentive. We arrived by bus. I was in constant contact with the hotel manager at the time, Zahid. I was struggling to catch a taxi so he sent one to pick us up. He then carried our luggage up lots of steps. We had mint tea constantly anytime we asked. It felt like home. The Terrasse was lovely to relax at any time of the day. The rooms were small but still comfortable. It is very close to the insta pictures of the blue city. Make sure to ask them for the correct directions if not you will miss out on the best part of the city. The architecture of the house is so beautiful. And I have to mention the towels! Super comfy!! There is also a lovely restaurant right next door the Zahid was able to make a reservation for us. Food was very good. This Dar is definitely on my list to visit again if I go back to Morocco!

This was completely amazing experience in the nature in walking distance. Great view on the sunset and the town. dinner was delicious as well as breakfast. Spacious, clean and fireplace in the common room . Social to meet other travellers. Super nice and quiet form the busy streets . There was also Very relaxing music being played, so it felt like home.
