My stay at the Iguana Azul was simply wonderful! If you are looking for a place to relax, quiet, with breathtaking views and extremely kind staff, Iguana is everything you could want to spend extremely happy days in Chefchaouen. Starting with the location, which when you arrive in the vicinity of the Medina you will walk about 5 minutes to reach the accommodation. It is located inside the medina, close to all points of interest, picturesque streets, restaurants, cafes. Speaking of coffee, you will have a transcendental experience when you have breakfast beautifully organized by the iguana staff. In addition to being delicious and filling, the view is stunning, to the mountains. I loved to spend at least two hours of my day there relaxing. There is also, on the floor above, a decorated Rooftop, where you will have a panoramic view of the blue city 🫂 The employees are there to help with everything necessary, such as visiting tips, buying tickets, recommending restaurants and whatever else is necessary. Nizar and Fatima were helpful and just provided exceptional service. In particular, Nizar gave me a tour of Chaouen early in the morning and it was wonderful because it was quiet and I was able to enjoy the sites without the crowds.

The location was amazing with a beautiful view. The architecture was beautiful. The staff were friendly and breakfast was delicious. They allowed us to leave our baggage there after we checked out and were very accomodating. Nice shampoo and body wash was provided.
