We came to Merzouga for an overnight stay at a desert camp and added this stop for an extra night beforehand—which turned out to be perfect for a little rest in the middle of our road trip. There’s free parking, and we were able to park our car right in front of our room entrance, which was super convenient. The property is within walking distance of the dunes, and there’s a small supermarket about 4 minutes away by car. We really enjoyed lounging by the pool. The water was quite cold (we visited in late April), but with the heat outside, it was actually perfect for cooling off. We loved our room—it looked just like in the photos. It was very clean and comfortable, with a cozy bed, a mirror, and hangers for clothes. Even though it was hot outside, the room stayed pleasantly cool. We booked dinner for 130 DH (around 13€) per person), and both dinner and breakfast were really good. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind—we were even allowed to stay in the pool area after checkout, which we really appreciated. You could easily stay even 2 nights or more if you’re looking to unwind—this place is truly a gem.

I had a really nice stay in Sahara House. Hassan even picked me up from Errachidia airport so I did not need to organise anything. The house is very cozy and well located, close to the entrance to the dunes. A delicious dinner and a sunset trip in the dunes made my stay there just perfect.

Just wanted to say a huge thanks to Hassan and his beautiful family, whose house we stayed in! Highly recommend! Very attentive to details, room is clean , breakfast is fresh and nice, the service was spot on 👌 we also had a lovely horse tour to meet sunset. It meant to be an hour , but Hassan and Muhammad were very patient and waited for a sunset two hours with no extra charge. Very hospitality and lovely people.

Really amazing stay here. I did 3 nights one of which was in the desert. Everything was really nice, great hospitality from the owner and staff. It was amazing having a pool on the door of the desert. They booked quad biking and sand boarding for me. Great breakfast too.
