Our stay at Aayu Penang was absolutely wonderful! The room was clean and very comfortable—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We stayed in a slightly noisy area, but that was part of the charm. It’s a lively, cultural neighborhood full of character and local flavor. The location couldn’t be better—close to everything! We were able to walk to local attractions, try amazing street food, and soak in the rich heritage of Penang right outside our door. The owner is really helpful and very informative about everything. They even gave us late check-out as our flight got delayed. Also the staffs who work here are charming and friendly. We felt very welcomed here. Aayu is a great choice if you're looking for an authentic and convenient place to stay. We truly enjoyed our time here. See you next time Penang!

I had a wonderful stay in this hotel ! The room was clean, cozy, and well maintained. The bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Location was perfect close to shops and restaurants. Highly recommended!

If you're looking to experience staying in modern heritage house, this is the place to be. There is a shared kitchenette with microwave oven, filtered water, mini fridge. Busy street by day but quiet and peaceful at night. Walking distance to almost everything. We love our room, it's clean, spacious and good view from the window. Air con and Wifi were strong too. Not forgetting to mention, the staff were absolute helpful. The reservation team is literally one message away and they are always ready to help.

We enjoyed the entire week at Green Gates. The location was great and the building made us feel we were living during the colonial era Penang. The food in the area was great and the hotel is conveniently close to all the sites we wanted to visit in Georgetown. Ms Fazeela was an exceptional host and helped us with anything we needed. Looking forward to our next visit. The complimentary visit to the museum across the street is worth a visit as well.

Newly refurbished hotel with a modern design in a such a good central location. Really fast communication over a WhatsApp and really lovely staff that answered every question and help us with check out. Room itself is really clean and hot water and cold AC and comfy bed. What else do you need? Would definitely stay there again.
