Communication prior to my arrival was very easy with the accomodation - they always reacted very quickly to all messages. Due to an illness I needed to cancel a part of my Borneo trip, including my stay in Semporna. I wrote to the accomodation and even if the status of my booking was already non-refundable, they understood my situation and refunded the amount paid. If I can do my Mabul-Sipadan trip on one day, I am 100% sure that I'll choose Amazing Rooms as my Semporna base.

We had a wonderful stay! The owner, who also manages the property, was extremely friendly and responsive throughout our visit. Our return flight to KUL was in the late evening, and they graciously allowed us to check out at our own convenience. Such a thoughtful gesture that made our trip even more relaxing. During our stay, Semporna was facing a town-wide water supply issue. Despite this, the owner went above and beyond by providing us with a carton of bottled water while waiting for the third-party supply to be restored. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Semporna. Excellent hospitality and truly considerate service!

In a country where living conditions are as difficult as in Borneo, we were lucky enough to find a haven of peace. This hotel was particularly welcoming, friendly and clean. I'd like to thank the team of very committed young people who were always looking to improve our stay. No need to worry about the airport, they know how to manage everything. The small village is served at a partner's restaurant next door, which offers a cosy setting and very good food. We really recommend it. Thank you team, you are great. Take good care of yourselves
