The guesthouse was located in a peaceful environment in the jungle. We could spot some wildlife very nearby. The views from the rooms are towards the gorgeous Concepcion volcano. The room was spacious, clean, modern and comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay here.

The place has a nice garden full of tropical plants, and an open roofed space with chairs, tables and hammocks. The breakfast was the usual Nicaraguan gallo pinto (rice with black frijoles) with eggs and fried plantains. Tasty. I made my own coffee in the guest kitchen. There are some nice walks from the place to a natural pool, the nearby (1.5 km) Finca Magdalena, and along the lakeshore past Balgue.

Breakfast was great everyday I was there. We get 3 options, made to order and delicious. Staff was attentive and delivered the plate to the table. Free coffee included. Scooter rentals on site. Great views from the top terrace. Right in town where you can find food options, and fruits and vegetable stands at walking distance. Staff cleaned bathrooms and common areas everyday in the morning.

Very friendly host Azael. Amazingly good breakfast; you can choose every day something different. The location is of the road but within walking distance of nice restaurants. Very quiet place and felt safe for me as a sole female traveler. I even extended my stay.

    We had a great stay with my friend at Ananda Guesthouse! The view was incredible, super easy access from Balgue but also super peaceful and quiet. You feel disconnected when you are there. We also appreciate that they found us a guide to hike the Conception volcano, and they pre-booked our ferry tickets with the car. We will come back !

    The family is very friendly. We rented a scooter which worked very well. Kitchen was well equipped and the breakfast is good and cheap. A lot of hammocks to relax. You can walk directly to the vulcano from the hostel.
