I stayed in Nirvana Kuti following the recommendation of Linda, a wonderful woman that I met in Delhi airport. She was indeed accurate: Nirvana Kuti is such a beautiful accomodation, comfortable, clean and pretty new. It was easy to feel home. Besides the comfort of the room, with a big, warm bed, with views to the temple just in front of the house, it is located just a few steps from Durbar square, in a very calm street. I slept extremely well and woke up to the beautiful views. Life is magical and I met Bobby, the owner of Nirvana Kuti, even before my stay. He kindly offered me a ride to Nirvana Kuti, and he made it very easy for me to feel home. Even more, he also allowed me to stay a bit longer because my bus was leaving in the evening. I appreciate Bobby's kindness and the beautiful taste in which the house is built. It is both comfortable and stylish, and the location couldn't be better. Thank you Bobby for making of my last days in Kathmandu (for this time) a beautiful experience and see you next time ♡

This beautiful hotel is your safe comfortable clean place to stay in Kathmandu! Rooms are spacious with modern bathrooms and hot water 24h. The buffet breakfast is delicious! U will find many sitting spots in the complex where u can work peacefully or just enjoy the quiet atmosphere. Attached to it is the nunnery and also a beautiful garden. It’s only 6m walk to the Stupa. Near the entrance there is a new clinic in case u need to do some checks. Many local restaurants are nearby. The price is modest and funds the nunnery 🙏🙏🙏

Clean and good size room, the staffs are all so helpful and kind, very pleasant personality. Good hot shower even on rainy day. As I kept the window open at night so it's slightly noisy but I use the earplugs and slept like a baby.

I recently stayed at Zen Nest during my trip to Nepal, and it was an incredible experience. The location is perfect—right near Thamel and Basantapur, making it easy to explore the city's vibrant nightlife. My stay in this beautiful guesthouse was incredible! Lovely spacious room with huge windows overlooking the Kathmandu valley and surrounding hills. There’s also an easy access to the rooftop with the stunning sunrise/sunset views🥰. In good weather you could see the snowy mountains tops from out there! Clean restroom with hot water. Nice well equipped kitchen, fridge. All the dishes, cups, silverware and pots are present. Little well kept garden was full of flowers in spring! Property is generally very well maintained and looked after with the great love and attention to the details. Neighborhood is quiet and safe. A short taxi ride to Thamel and 7 min walk to the main entrance to Swayambhu (monkey temple). The owners of the guesthouse Valeria and Alex are extremely friendly and helpful! I’m very grateful for this fabulous stay!
