The staff were wonderful—warmly greeting us at reception and personally escorting us to our room. The room itself was beautifully renovated, with a fresh, modern feel. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the entire space was spotless. We also appreciated the efficient air-conditioning. The location was fantastic—just a short walk to restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops, and the beach. A great stay overall!

Perfect location, very close to beach, nice area to walk. The property is very quiet, full of trees and birds. Nice comfy bed, big bathroom and well set up. Very reasonable price so we could stay for 8 days. Friendly, lovely people,very helpful.

This place was in an ideal location for my visit to Auckland. It's only 10 minutes to get back onto the motorway, but the street is lovely and quiet. The hosts were friendly and prompt with their communication. I found the accommodation easily and felt safe staying as a solo traveller. The host and their family were very nice. The bed was comfortable, and the room was warm and spacious, with a double bed, bedside drawers, and storage rack for my suitcase and space to hang my clothing. Bonus for having access to own private bathroom and kitchenette with kettle and fridge to use inside the home. Nice and close to some nice beaches and shops. Would absolutely recommend for those who are looking for an affordable base while exploring the North Shore etc.

Wendy's B&B, Auckland North Shore is exceptionally clean and well kept, very comfortable. Kitchens, bathrooms and outside decks are shared but I always had good access, seldom even saw other guests. Outside decks are comfy and peaceful with sun and shade, trees and birds, very quiet and pleasant. Location is very good, near stores and mall, public transport ferry to Auckland CBD and buses, North Shore beaches, etc. Very enjoyable, peaceful and convenient location even without a car, and easy to relax outside in this green and quiet setting. Auckland's warm climate is also very pleasant for a winter visitor from Canada. Wendy herself is very nice, kind and helpful, going above and beyond in anticipating needs and comforts, dealing with my change of plans (booking) efficiently. and Communicating with her by text with translator works very well. She provided everything I needed to be very comfortable, responded quickly to any requests. I would be very happy to stay at Wendy's B&B again when I come to New Zealand. Beautiful cottage, spacious and comfortable, but the best part was a private hot water tub on the terrace, which we just had to top up with thermal water and it was ready to use in 10 minutes. It was heaven after a long drive! I just wish we had stayed more than one night...
