I just loved my stay. This accomodation is brand new, very well located and with all the expected amenities. While arriving to Carvalhal, follow the directions to the beach; just before doing the last turn, you will see the fabulous restaurant Dinis and Rua dos Arrozais at your right handside. Just go straight down the street and you will see no12, a vivenda welcoming you to paradise! The accomodation is very minimalist and clean, all white, and many rooms have beautiful balconies. The swimming pool is not huge but very nice even so. The neighbourhood is really quiet and two steps away from the beach, no car needed to get you there. Along the way you have a café, several restaurants, a surf/bike rental and even a hairstylist. 2 min by car and you are at Carvalhal. Great value for money! Free coffee and tea! Very nice hostess! Highly recommended if you are looking for an honest, simple stay at Comporta!

The owners live on site so are there to assist with any queries that their guest might have. They are happy to tell you about places to go and things to see. The rooms are self contained and very comfortable and there is a large communal lounge area with a fridge and coffee making facilities with a big screen TV as well. We stayed a total 7 nights after going back there after our initial stay as the location is excellent. Free parking so we could just leave the car and walk into the centre of Setubal in about 10 minutes. An ideal location so close to Lisbon and a lovely waterfront city. Highly recommend Casa 70.

Even before arrival Pedro called me to check on my time. I suppose that because I arrived in a night flight he wasn´t there, but he stayed in touch with me through What´s App ALL the way until I got to the 'hotel'. The room was very cozy and with cute details here and there. There was a big living room (I wasn´t even expecting that) a kitchen with everything one would need, including 2 machines - washing machine and dish washer, I suppose. The towel was soooo soft, the water in the shower was hot. The price was well worth it. To be honest, it was the cheapest I found and still the place was very welcoming. Oh, there were 2 other guests in the other room. They were very nice too.

The house was nicely decorated and loved the small courtyard and outdoor areas. The shower was the best ever.. the door didn’t close properly and so the floor became wet after each shower. The kitchen was ideal with fridge and microwave and a small terrace. Always very clean and neat and tidy.. Parking was easy in a vacant piece of land opposite.
