It's hard to leave a place like this. All the staff were the friendliest I'd ever met. Breakfast to the maximum extent of diversity that such a small hotel has to offer. The hotel itself was beautiful, tidy, rooms clean, a bathroom up to the standards of the 21st century. There's no need to write about the city, I encourage everyone to visit.

Amazing place. Don't miss it. It's an old farmhouse with the original furniture, pictures and everything. Eight rooms for guests, and more AMAZING rooms which were the family rooms with original furniture, pictures etc. The farm is still active. You feel as is you jump back in time. The staff are VERY kind. We planed on staying one night and changed the trip plans, just so we can spend another night there.

I stayed with a group of girlfriends in Sept and we had the most wonderful time. The property is beautiful and so thoughtfully arranged. The wine is to die for and the breakfasts were fabulous. Arthur could not have been any more friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to make sure we had a brilliant holiday, even helping us to order a take away and then bringing us ice cream for dessert! We had a lovely day sat by the spring water pool, many hours drinking wine in the sun on the balcony and lots of nice trips locally including to the beach and Guimares. Highly recommend if you want a lovely, relaxing holiday with brilliant wine on tap!
