We didn't realize that there is a common kitchen/dining area until our second day. This was excellent . The location is in sitio up on the cliff, which was nice, with the funicular to go down to the town or beach.

The guest house is very very nice and Wagner (the host) is a very cool guy to talk to. The roof top terrace is amazing for having breakfast or watching the sun go down over the nearby hill. From our room and balcony we were even able to see the sea, which is a great plus. It was tiny but very well set up and lovely to stay in.

Elegantly decorated home, recently updated, high quality, spotless, quiet. Note that there is one room with an en suite bath, one with a private bath which is downstairs from the room, and 1-2 more rooms but I'm not sure about their bathroom situations. There is also a downstairs studio apartment with a kitchen and bath. On this site I only saw one room advertised, so the host should check to see that all rooms show availability. Parking was available on the property. The host was absolutely lovely: She met us at the door and made sure we were happy. I became ill and needed to extend our stay another night, so she recommended we move to the en suite room which was even better than our original room with the downstairs private bath. Noting that I had not left our room to eat, she actually invited me to eat dinner with her family. We had fun using google translate to get to know each other a bit despite the language barrier (English/Portuguese).
