It was a little hard to find. Tucked away in a town square (a largo). Everyone in the town was super helpful from the grocery store employees to the group of gentlemen on the corner. Such a quaint place. The owner quickly came to help us get in because I couldn’t retrieve my email for the door code. Everything was as listed. The shared kitchen had everything you need…including a washing machine. A bonus is the buffet restaurant about 2 miles away. Restaurante Dona Isilda —definitely worth a visit! One price all you can eat & drink—traditional Portuguese

The house is gorgeous, a very typical countryside villa, cozy and aesthetically well thought. The exteriors are beautifully designed: I really loved the stairs with the handrails in wrought iron, and all the purple and violet climbing flowers around the place. So gracious, so relaxing! Edite is a lovely, caring host, happy to accommodate requests quickly and to give suggestions about what to do. We felt like part of the family, even if for just a couple of days! (There is also a very cute and gentle Bernese dog around, who patiently let our 1y.o. kid do whatever she wanted while suffering in silence. Hero ❤️)
