Breakfast was very good with a big choice. We also met the host and we were talking a while - he is really nice and when he was in the morning at the house, he came to say hi. The accommodation is in very quite place close to beautiful beach Santa Barbara. The cleaning was not only for kitchen and common spaces, but also they were cleaning the rooms, what really surprised us.

This villa is extraordinary and we felt like a royal couple for this weekend. The house is crazy beautiful with a wonderful garden and a huge mammut tree that looks like from the jungle. The whole estate looks like painted. Everything is very calm, the personal incredibly friendly (they made us a breakfast at 4:15!!), the breakfast very tasty and high quality, the room was beautiful with a wonderful view and and furniture full of Stil, we slept like babies. Eventho we were almost the only guests due to off season, they prepared the whirl pool for us, so we could go into the whirl pool under the stars. Whoever wants a extraordinary wonderful place to stay this is perfect and we can highly recommend it.

Clean, everything was new, they are providing enough amount if towels, the breakfast was big, tasty, a lot if variety, the staff was friendly and gave us suggestions on where to go, the kitchen well equipped and clean, the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on, they clean your room as many times you ask for.

Absolutely stunning mansion that is a bit like a museum but one you get to hang out in. Very comfortable room that was kept spotless and the staff was lovely. Breakfast was also excellent. There is a nice pool as well as a sauna that you can get them to heat up for you.

As a traveller, it is probably the best place i jave stayed for holidays. Located in one of the most beautiful towns of Sao Miguel (Capelas) and it is close to a gas station and supermarket. It is also in the middle of all the points of interest (10/10) The rooms and all the buildings are so clean, you can see it and smell it. The breakfast was rich and so delicious. The people are se kind and helpful, mind that it is a family business and they put their heart to everything. I recommend it to everyone, you should stay in this place if you visit Sao Miguel!

The hosts Leonardo and his girlfriend were very welcoming and accomodating. I accidentally teared down the curtain above my balcony door trying to move it and Leonardo didn't hesitate to put it back. They also helped me figured out which bus to take to Furnas. They made a wonderful breakfast every day consisting of home made bread and mini cup cakes that contained fruits like pineapple. Additionally, you could choose between fruit salat and fresh made eggs. Tea and coffee were available, too. In the room there was a big bottle of fresh water every day. The rooms and the house in general were very tidy and clean. I'm very sensitive to smell and the room and the bedding sheets smelled very fresh and clean. So I felt very good staying there. The bed was also very big and comfortable. Also the bathroom looked renovated and clean. My room had a small balcony from which I could look out to the beautiful terrace with all its beautiful plants and flowers. The location is conventiently close enough to the center while not being directly in the center. So it's rather quiet at night without having to walk far to reach the center. What is nice about guest houses compared to hotels is that you get to talk to other guests and hear their travel stories. I highly recommend this place.
