As we arrived, we immediately felt at home. Celeste was waiting for us with a glass of wine, some freshly made orange juice, cheese from the Azores as a little aperitivo in the perfectly maintained garden. She entrained us for the rest of the evening until dinner when she recommended us where to go. The house is freshly renovated. The room was clean, cozy and quiet at night, perfect for a restful stay. Celeste is an exceptional host who will make you feel as you were coming home to your own family. Thank you Celeste, we will come back .

A piece of paradise! We stayed in one of the stone houses, made our own food, sat under the wine branches. Swam in the pool. Took a lovely morning walk by the river (took left when we came to the river, found old ruins and a stream. In the evenings people sat by the main building eating tapas. Looked very cozy even though we didn’t.

Too much to describe in words. All I can say is that I felt like we stayed with relatives, everything was absolutely spot on, especially when things didn't go according to plan and both the hosts and staff were delightful. Will return for a longer stay when I'm back up north, and this is a promise ❤️
