Everything was really nice. From the beginning, we were feeling at home. The room itself was big and comfortable. Besides that, the food of the restaurant was extraordinary (especially the lobster and octopus). Also the owners made our stay wonderful because of their service.

We chose this chalet as it has an interesting jungle location, very good grades and a suitable price in the Takamaka area. Adam and Merlin (owners of several chalets in the complex) were friendly and open to advice and to help us (we were welcomed with juice and a huge plate of fruit, one day we were booked into a restaurant, we were also helped to get out of the jungle when we went on a trekking trail to Capuchins beach and got lost). On site, there is a swimming pool with clean and warm water which was very nice to swim in with a baby. We were also offered lovely complementary breakfasts for 15 euros (free for children under 12). We stayed at this hotel on Christmas Day, and were given a (free) Christmas dinner and gifts (this is something of a wow - how can this be). We felt like we were visiting our best friends who appreciated us very much. The great atmosphere from the owners and staff is unbeatable. We stay in an average of 50 different hotels a year (both private villas, houses and 4*-5* hotels) and in most hotels the owners or staff treat guests like water, not doing anything out of the hotels bounds, with strained smiles and standard requests (this is normal). We felt like long awaited and valued guests at this hotel. Fully recommended, a magical experience and unbeatable value for money where quality is so much more.

The hotel manager Lilanda collected us from and dropped us to the airport when we arrived and left. He offered us a car as reasonable rate so we could drive around the island during our stay. The room is comfortable and quiet. The kitchen is operational so we could prepare some food ourselves.

Ocean Terrace is a fantastic place - no doubt in my mind. It is beautifully set on a hilltop. Yes, you need a car - I highly recommend it. It can be a bit scary driving up the steep hill the first couple of times, but you will get the hang of it. The staff, the setting, the rooms... all of it is just perfect. Everyone is attentive and serviceminded.

The house is located in a middles of the forest with the amazing view over the bay. The owner is very friendly, welcoming and attentive. Room was cleaned daily and all the equipment was working well. I would recommend that accommodation very much.
