Stayed in the bungalows right on the beach. Great view of the beach. You can't ask for more. You have a restaurant and a beach bar right in front of you. The beach bar was the most happening place on the island during sunset. Music till 10pmish. The beach is amazing and setup of the beach bar is beautiful. Beautiful garden. Good place to have a relaxing vacation. Not too many people when we went in the day at the beach and then the beach bar would attract a crowd for sunset.

A wonderful place near a small great beach. The owner of this amazing place tried to fulfill all our wishes. The place is for people who value peace. It is comfortable, cozy, delicious. Thank you to the wonderful host. We will definitely come back here.

Everything was perfect, the food, the free kayak Rental, Scooter and boat Ticket service. Clean and calm place. Very beautiful.

This place is amazing 🤩 The staff are really nice and they clean every day. We rented a scooter with them and it was perfect. You have good WiFi, hot water, water to drink, coffee, tea, cacao, a fridge you can use and kitchen utensils if you need. The tent is big and comfy. The only thing is the noise and that depends on your neighbours who sometimes seem to forget that you can hear them pretty good as it's a tent... But anyway it's a really good quality for the price. We definitely recommend it !

Silent spot in the jungle. Matteo is very attentive, helpful and friendly host. Very rich breakfast. Beach and fisherman's village in 2 minutes by motorbike. Motorbikes are directly available with the house.

We originally booked just two nights because we were a bit unsure – mainly due to the limited number of reviews and the fact that it’s called a “hostel.” But we ended up extending our stay by another four nights and had a wonderful time! The few reviews are simply because the place only opened last year. The term “hostel” is actually a bit misleading – there are just three private single rooms (with shared bathrooms), so it’s much quieter and more private than you might expect. The host also plans to build a shared dorm on the other side of the building in the future. One of the best things is the price – it’s very affordable compared to most other places on Koh Kood. Despite the low cost, everything was always clean, especially the bathroom. The host was super friendly and always responded quickly to messages. There’s a fridge and a small kitchenette with dishes downstairs in the shared area. Each room has a shelf for your stuff and a fan, and the doors are fitted with extra insect screens. (If you’re sensitive to bugs, you might want to bring a mosquito net – there’s room to hang one over the bed.) We had one of the two rooms upstairs and loved the terrace – it was perfect for hanging our hammock and gym rings, and we had plenty of space to dry clothes. Every evening, a few tokay geckos would show up, which – as you might know – are considered good luck in Thailand! The location is also great – relatively quiet, with a few restaurants, small shops, a laundry, and a pharmacy all nearby. Ao Taphao Beach is just 1.5 km away, and the whole island is easy to explore by scooter, which you can rent directly from the host at a fair price. In short: this is a budget-friendly place that delivers exactly what it promises. If you’re looking for more luxury, you’ll probably need to spend a bit more. But for what it is, we thought it was great – and we really don’t understand the negative reviews!

I want to add, that this hoster makes literaly the best breakfast on the island. So if were not lucky enought to book the house , make sure to arrive for the breakfast, honestly the best bannana pancakes!:) We stayed here 2 nights and then arrived for breakfast each morning after check out while in Koh Kood

The breakfast and the food in general were amazing! You can also have dinner at the restaurant and try delicious dishes at good prices :) Even if the resort is not located in front of the beach, you can easily reach the nearest one by walking or by using a motorbyke. Given that I didn't feel comfortable driving the motorbyke, Nai very kindly gave me a ride to the stunning Khlong Chao beach and to the namesake waterfall as well! The resort was clean and people really nice. I had the chance to wake up surrounded by the sounds of nature and to always feel welcomed :D

Jay the owner was amazing, he helped us with all our inquiries, very friendly, the place is in a very close beach and a restaurant right on the corner, the place was very spacious and comfortable.

Beautiful, pivate owned beach resort at the most beautiful beach of Koh Chang. Very relaxed atmosphare! Nice owners and stuff! We highly recommend!
