Deng (and her niece) were the best hosts I have ever encountered on my travels. They were so accommodating to every wish we had and provided everything we needed to get the most out of our stay in Koh Kood. Breakfast was so delicious, the view from the dining table was phenomenal and the room was adorable! Our stay was nothing short of magical. The fact that so few people can stay at Canale made it great for us to interact with other guests as well and share stories and tips during coffee or tea in the evening. This is the first time during all of my travels that a place I went to felt like home. Once again, thank you Deng (and niece), you played a huge part in making our stay amazing!

Beautiful territory, like a little secret garden :) The room was big enough and very cozy. I loved the quantity of shelves and places to keep stuff like clothes, cosmetics Etc. No need to keep everything in suitcases. I only would add some more clothes hangers in rooms, because there is plenty of space there 😉 Tasty breakfast! Plenty of fruits, fried bananas every morning 🩷 I liked that you can order from menu. The stuff was very helpful in any question. They helped me with all I needed like for example a cup for paints, knife for drawing pencil. That's cute. Yes, the resort is not on the beach, but there are many useful places nearby - stores, restaurants, massages. And only 5 minutes on bike to the beach. Yeah, if you walk it will take 15-20 minutes. But you will need motorbike anyway;) Thank you for the great vacation!

It was our second time in here and we were happy as before. Good value for money, cozy and quiet place, super awesome staff, tasty and cheap food. Highly recomend!

The people and the location are fabulous. We stayed in one of the deluxe tents. These are great value for money as the beds are comfortable , there is AC, a Hot shower (in a good sized bathroom) The people who own Kama Siri and also their staff are extremely lovely people. Kama Siri is situated next to a great restaurant and bar called The Fisherman Hut. If you are looking for somewhere decent and friendly but are on a budget , the deluxe tents are a great option.

Silent spot in the jungle. Matteo is very attentive, helpful and friendly host. Very rich breakfast. Beach and fisherman's village in 2 minutes by motorbike. Motorbikes are directly available with the house.

We originally booked just two nights because we were a bit unsure – mainly due to the limited number of reviews and the fact that it’s called a “hostel.” But we ended up extending our stay by another four nights and had a wonderful time! The few reviews are simply because the place only opened last year. The term “hostel” is actually a bit misleading – there are just three private single rooms (with shared bathrooms), so it’s much quieter and more private than you might expect. The host also plans to build a shared dorm on the other side of the building in the future. One of the best things is the price – it’s very affordable compared to most other places on Koh Kood. Despite the low cost, everything was always clean, especially the bathroom. The host was super friendly and always responded quickly to messages. There’s a fridge and a small kitchenette with dishes downstairs in the shared area. Each room has a shelf for your stuff and a fan, and the doors are fitted with extra insect screens. (If you’re sensitive to bugs, you might want to bring a mosquito net – there’s room to hang one over the bed.) We had one of the two rooms upstairs and loved the terrace – it was perfect for hanging our hammock and gym rings, and we had plenty of space to dry clothes. Every evening, a few tokay geckos would show up, which – as you might know – are considered good luck in Thailand! The location is also great – relatively quiet, with a few restaurants, small shops, a laundry, and a pharmacy all nearby. Ao Taphao Beach is just 1.5 km away, and the whole island is easy to explore by scooter, which you can rent directly from the host at a fair price. In short: this is a budget-friendly place that delivers exactly what it promises. If you’re looking for more luxury, you’ll probably need to spend a bit more. But for what it is, we thought it was great – and we really don’t understand the negative reviews!

Comfy and clean bungalow. We had everything we needed; AC, fridge, safetybox. Shower pressure was good. Our Bungalow was pretty new one. Every bungalow have hammock at the terrace, it was nice. The staff were so kind and friendly. They helped with everything. They wished us welcome with a coconut water. Breakfast was delicious. You order from menu but there is also buffet where is bread, cereals, yougurth, coffee, tea and juice. Whatever you order you get also fresh fruits whit it. There is few restaurants nearby but if you want get to know to the island better, you have to rent a motorbike from the resort. Motorbikes were pretty new and in good shape.

Koh Kooh Bed's has a great location, very close to all the best restaurants. You can easily reach the whole island with a scooter. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom has a lot of space. All in all value for money. You can rent scooter from your host which is convenient. I recommend! :)
