We stayed in three different places in Stone Town because we couldn't find a clean budget place with decent wifi for working. This place was perfect and I wish we had found it earlier. The bedroom is huge and the wifi works very well in the room. The bathroom was spacious and spotless. The is AC but the fan was enough to keep us cool.

It was wonderful being able to spend nights in an authentically traditional building with traditional rooms and furniture. It was an excellent way to explore the traditional architecture and decoration of old Zanzibar. The location is perfect. Just behind the famous praying temple and just 5 minutes to the water shores. The owner is very friendly and always eager to make your stay comfortable. The price is reasonable given the excellent location and the traditional environment. This place is a must!
