    Our host, Mr. Essop Desai, was very friendly and welcoming. Communication from him was excellent. The guesthouse is an older building with a lot of character and charm. The room and bathroom were very neat and spacious. Amazing views over the town from the guesthouse. The owner is busy with some upgrades and minor tweaks needed but overall, we had a great stay.

    This was our second stay at Buller's Rest Lodge and we had another enjoyable stay - 3 nights this time. Sisters Leeche and Chey are wonderful hosts and looked after us very well. The location is quiet and peaceful, with nice views over the surrounding countryside. The rooms are comfortable and clean and all the staff are very friendly. Breakfast is nice, with a good selection of hot and cold food. We will certainly stay here again when in Ladysmith. Great value!!
