The self catering cottage was in a delightful and secure estate. The bonus was the wildlife around the cottage. We had giraffe grazing on the trees next to the deck. Very special. The owner is also an exception cook and we were lucky enough to have a meal cooked by her. Ingrid usually cooks on a Saturday, but made a special effort to prepare a meal for us on a Monday night, the day we arrived.

Well run guesthouse, very welcoming. Swimming pool is nice, don't be put off by grey finish because it's really good, just different. Good food and nice to chat with other guests. Very relaxing around garden.

The room was perfect, a comfortable bed, beautiful surroundings. Waking up to the sound of birds and the ducks was precious. This is a little gem in White River. Marti and Johan made us feel at home, and they were very helpful when we had car problems. I will definitely go back, and I can't wait for my next stay

Our host Renate allowed us to check in early as we arrived before the check in time. The guesthouse has a beautiful view of the hills and beautiful greenery. Would definitely return when visiting Mpumalanga for work or for holiday.
