MalaysiaI had a private room with attached bathroom in David’s private residence. The room was nice, clean with comfortable bed and with breakfast. David was a superb host. Enjoyed our conversations over beers after dinner. David even helped organised my Matobo hills tour (which I was wondering how to go about). It is mentioned that the place is about 8 km from town but it was wasn’t an issue. Pre-book your dinner with David and you’re all set. David is an excellent cook btw. With the power cuts in Zimbabwe, David manages to make it comfortable for his guests.

CanadaOur Hostess , Lynn, was amazing. So friendly and attentive. Anything that you need, within reason lol, she will gladly accommodate. The room was large and comfortable. The outside area/gardens are a peaceful oasis. Valve for the money is outstanding.. she makes her own fresh peanut butter 🥜 and you may be lucky enough to have some.
Big garden, goats 🐐 and chicken 🐔
Wonderful place to stay.. we booked for one and stayed 3 days!
Highly recommend if you are in Bulawayo!!

The property is lovely and very quiet. The cottage is very quaint, if a little rustic. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, including both an electric and gas stove top.
