The staff arranged everything what we asked for: a car from Luxor, a trip to Abu Simbel, food delivery and a felucca sailing trip. It’s not for everybody, though. If you’re a 5-star hotel frequent visitor, this is not for you.

Mahmoud was a great host and made all he could to arrange everything 🙏 This place provides laundry services, transfers, great tours and so on. Even hair cuts, henna tattoos if you need. Actually they try to provide everything you wish. Our room 203 (without balcony) was very comfortable. Also a big thanks to Bibo and also to Sido ✌️

Chatted with him on Egyptian culture, people etc which enriched the experience for us of the whole trip. Loved our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at FADL KATO, with a beautiful location over looking the Nile, and a very accommodating host who helped us a lot by recommending restaurants and places to go to on the island and booked for us transportation to Abu Simbel and other trips. Would really recommend the place.

Very clean and spacious rooms. Very rich and abundant breakfast on the terrace with beautiful views. We also had dinner there at a very convenient price. Tamer took care of managing all the tours and making sure it was all good. His family is very nice.

We also recommend the excursions that they are proposing: visit of Botanic garden, tombs of nobles, Nubian village. The Elephantine island is a quiet place that we liked very much. Thanks to Abu for his hospitality. We felt like at home.

The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, free shuttle service and currency exchange for guests. Mohammed was a very great host, we enjoyed our time here. Terrace view was perfect, car transfers were arranged even though we arrived past midnight. We have large luggages which Mohammed arranged for guys to carry for us from the Jetty to the homestay, that helped as there were many stairs. Before/After crossing the river though, you may have to figure out how to carry up the rest of the stairs on your own. Just a point to note as no review mentioned this. Still, overall experience was great!

Very kind and attentive staff. Convenient location next to ferry to mainland. Excellent view of the river, boats, corniche, sofitel cataract hotel. Reasonably priced laundry service. Powerful air conditioner and comfortable bed. Refrigerator in room was a welcome touch and I really enjoyed sitting on my terrace watching the boats on the nile. Rawia and her staff will do all they can to ensure you enjoy your stay as much as I did.
