We used the Gasthof Schontal as a base for travelling to and from Kitzbuhel for a days skiing and the Hahnenkahm races. A half hour drive takes you to Kirchberg in Tyrol where there is free parking and a free shuttle train which takes you into Kitzbuhel itself. Perfect

The staff was super. The room was large with a very comfortable bed and great seating area. The shower area was modern. Everything was very clean. It is conveniently located in the center of town. Breakfast was good too.

The location was good, a 2=minute walk from the ski bus stop.

Breakfast was decent and place was spottles clean. Beds very comfy. Perfect location: central but very quiet with lovely views. Good value for money.
