They went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable; we were welcomed with a free mulled wine which made us relax into an unfamiliar place. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless. The buffet breakfast was also delicious.

The sun terrace and garden offer a beautiful view of the Zugspitz and Wetterstein mountains. Warm welcome, well heated clean, spacious and comfortable room, good bed and extremely good breakfast including great coffee and fruit. Spacious parking for a big car.

The town is in close proximity to Garmish and Eibsee, and yet away from crowd. The town itself is very cute and lots of places to roam around. The stay itself was very comfortable. The host was very good and kind. We received a very walm welcome and she gave the tour of the apartment. Provided all the details to travel nearby and gave us our Travelpasses of the area which allows to travel free on buses and trains. Apartment has everything that you might need for your needs. Kitchen has everything. I would definitely come back next time.

Breakfast is laid out in the morning outside the room for you to help yourself. With the tax you pay the owner gives you a travel pass to use in the area. We went on the cable car to Zugspitz which was wonderful and caught the bus just down the road. Had 2 meals at Dorfbrunnen hotel (which gives massive potions!) which is 5 minutes in the car (a bit too far to walk). Would highly recommend a stay here.

Thanks to the hotel, Simon, and the beautiful area. Me (27M) and my girlfriend(23F) could not have found a better place. We were well prepared (or so we thought) and knew exactly what to do, where and when, until we met Simon. He was super friendly and helped us refine our activities with secret local spots and choosing the right day for each activity. For my girlfriend and me this was perfect. (Even if you are not so well prepared Simon will point you towards all the gems exactly tailored to your wishes.) The appartment itself is super clean and recently renovated (while keeping the rustic alpine style). We loved the cozy wooden interior and the bed was very comfortable (including the pillows!!). I almost forgot the great view, see the photo. The location directly at the Fernpass road B179, was ideal for us. We had many things planned such as Zugspitze, Neuschwannstein, Drachensee, Partnachklamm, Breitachklamm and canyoning, which were all within 1h driving (many even much less). This was ideal for us and made a super action packed, beautiful vacation possible for us. Last but not least Simon made a custom mountainbike loop exactly to my wishes, which was one of the coolest (and hardest, cardio wise) experiences I have had in a while, completely for free. He has an amazing collection of bikes which you can borrow for free. With that I would like to conclude that I can only very much recommend staying here. Best wishes, R & E
