The best part of my stay was the host Carla. She was the sweetest person, took care of everything (organizing tours, ordering food, etc.) for me and spoke English really well.

We do not speak Portuguese and Micheal was very patient while we communicated mostly with the google translator app. He also helped us after our transfer back to the airport didn't show and called the tour company and helped us straighten out the situation.

I felt like visiting family when I stayed with this pousada. The location is a bit far from the downtown area, about a 25 minutes walk, but very quiet at night. Which is really great if one desires a good rest after the day activities. Paulo was very kind to assist me in my travel visits and quite patient with my poor Portuguese ! Highly recommended for a cozy and simple pousada for a relaxing holiday.
