At the guest house, the family-friendly restaurant is open for dinner, lunch and high tea and specialises in local cuisine. Amazing location with fantastic views from the balcony. Theo and Beatrice were the best hosts and so friendly and helpful. Loved the small family feel to the hotel, brilliant breakfasts and free parking were an added bonus.

Offering modern, tastefully styled rooms in a traditional chalet, this BnB can be found 300 metres from the Wilderswil-Dorf bus stop. All rooms have a mountain-view balcony or terrace and a flat-screen TV. Free WiFi is available and you can park your car on site for free. The room was very spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. There was a table and chairs on the patio in front of the room where we had a filling breakfast each morning. The host was very thorough in acquainting us with the features of the room and providing us with guidance on the options for exploring the region. Our walks through the village to the train station each morning as we started that day’s adventures were pleasant as we marveled at the traditional Swiss homes, the lovely gardens, and the mountain peaks surrounding us. We were glad we had chosen to stay outside Interlaken - the atmosphere was quiet and friendly.

The property has garden and quiet street views, and is 10 km from Schilthorn. The guest house offers mountain views, a sun terrace, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. Great location and people. Just amazing!!

This quietly located guesthouse is 12 km from the village center of Grindelwald and is only accessible by gondola. (In summer, it is also accessible via various hiking trails.) Perfect location in the hearth of the mountains! Views! Sunset! All included in the price, except for weather, but we were lucky :) Very good food at the restaurant. In fact, this is rather a mountain hotel, not just a hut. Just have in mind, that you shouldn't miss the last cable car from Grindelwald Terminal, otherwise you won't easily get there and you risk that the reception will be closed. Of course, there is not much to do than enjoying the quiet evening in the mountains after the last gondola stops operating. But this is an advantage! Tip: if you want to go back on the next day to Grindelwald, don't go directly from the top. First take a walk to Kleine Scheidegg which is very easy and extremely beautiful. Then you will have two options: either take a train, either continue hike.

Situated in the car-free Wengen in the Jungfrau Region, Hotel Berghaus enjoys a quiet location surrounded by the Bernese Alps. The Männlichen Cable Car and the village centre are only a short walk away. All was perfect :) Very nice and welcoming host.

The Alpenblick hotel is a typical, quiet and small Swiss Chalet hotel in Mürren, offering superb views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains.

Some rooms feature a balcony, while all come with a private bathroom with shower or bath and hairdryer, flat-screen cable TV and a safety deposit box. Superior rooms are situated on the front side and boast views of the famous mountains, the quiet standard rooms are situated on the backside. Free WiFi is available in all areas of the hotel. The apartment has two bedrooms, one half bathroom and one full bathroom with a tub and a living room/kitchen. The hotel served a consistent traditional breakfast. We haven't tried the restaurant though. The hotel is located next to the BLM tracks and two minutes from the train station on foot which is very convenient. The owners and the staff are very nice and warm people. The view from the large balcony is absolutely breathtaking.
